It invests in the fixed income markets of the United States. The fund primarily invests in publicly-issued U.S. Treasury securities with a fixed coupon schedule and be denominated in U.S. dollars. It invests in securities that will mature after December 31, 2027 and before December 16, 2028. The fund seeks to replicate the performance of the ICE BofA US Broad Market Index and the ICE 2028 Maturity US Treasury Index, by employing representative sampling technique. iShares Trust - iShares iBonds Dec 2028 Term Treasury ETF was formed on February 25, 2020 and is domiciled in the United States.
